Week 6 (22 October)

Review homework. Creating your own gradients, patterns, and brushes. Plus, we will spend some more time on type, and compound paths.
Homework: Chapter 8. "Working with Layers"

Week 5 (15 October)

Review homework. Painting, gradients, and patterns.
Using type, and the type tools. Plus (since we didn't get to it in class#4), compound objects.
Homework: Chapter 6. "Color and Painting" and Chapter 7. "Working with type"

Week 4 (8 October)

Review homework. Compound objects, and grouping. Fundamentals of typography. Plus (since we didn't get to it in class#3), the pen, pencil, and brush tools, as well as color spaces, and color theory.
Homework: Chapter 5. “Drawing with the Pen tool”
